Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. Amy Smart was brought up in California, America. Amy Smart began modelling in Italy. She began her acting career in 1996, when she appeared in her debut in the TV film Her Costly Affair. After a very difficult struggle her way to a role, she got a chance as 'Starship Troopers' in starring in Starship Troopers. In the beginning, it was hard for Amy to switch from modelling to acting. It's because the majority of models don't have the ability to act. And they are usually assigned small and insignificant parts. Amy did not give up. Her first major part came from The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. She then ventured into the main roles for the 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy achieved the fame she'd been seeking for over 10 years after her film called Just Friends came out. She did some big films within the Crank trilogy alongside Jason Statham. And she also played a recurring role in Shameless. Shameless series.
